TalkHunting Pro Staffer Randy "Hunly" Haehnlein started hunting and fishing with his grandfather and other family members at around 7 or 8 years old. He started out with small game, as most do, hunting squirrels and rabbits. Then, as his granddaddy figured out he was ready, he started to let Randy venture out around the farm on his own. Most of Randy's knowledge has been self taught and he has a great love of the outdoors. Its not the thrill of the kill for Randy,even though he does enjoy taking a great buck, gobbler or catching a great fish. He says its just about being out there. Randy has been in the outdoors for over 30 years now and yet he still learns something new everyday. His motto is "Enjoy what's around you and pass it on to someone else like it was passed on to you."
