Well TalkHunting members… You have done it. After all of the input we have given Kolpin over the last two years, they have come out with the “BowBoot”!  We asked for it and they delivered! As most of you know, Kolpin has been an awesome sponsor for us since the beginning of TalkHunting and we were super excited to not only see what we have been asking for but to hear from Sarah herself that we had a part in its development. She told us that all of the input from people (including a LOT of TalkHunting forum members) played a big part in getting this new product approved. Now it’s here and it’s all we were asking for!

The BowBoot is made from the same quality material as their gun boots and appears to be extremely durable. In my humble opinion, it will do an awesome job of protecting a bow during ATV transport. The new BowBoot also can be used as an airline approved travel container.

The BowBoot has a removable inner liner than can be taken out and used as a soft case for your bow. This inner liner comes in two styles. An open style (shown in the pictures) and a zippered style that zippers closed.

We all know about the quality products Kolpin produces and this product is no different. Superb design and materials will make this a “Must Have” for all bowhunters with an ATV. The BowBoot will retail for around $149 with the open inner case and $169 for the zippered inner case. The brackets to mount it to your ATV are sold separately and will retail for around $50.

Robert was introduced to hunting by his uncle, Jeff Hendricks, at a very young age. He grew up in the outdoors, hunting and fishing at every opportunity. He started, as most boys do, with hunting squirrels and rabbits but was soon deer hunting with his uncle and thus started a true love for deer hunting. Jeff and Robert were two of a kind and stayed in the woods or on the water as much as possible until his uncles death in 2007.

Robert was introduced to turkey hunting by a close friend, Jerry Golden, and soon developed a passion for hunting this elusive bird. It remains one of his favorite game to hunt.

Robert has branched out of just hunting in Alabama to include states like Iowa, Mississippi and Georgia. He hopes to continue to hunt game in other states in the future. Robert is a veteran of the first Gulf war and served in the USAF for a total of 7 years, including assignments in Germany, Nebraska, Texas and Illinois.

Robert is the owner of an IT Managed Services company (www.gtinow.com) in Greenville, Alabama and is the founder of TalkHunting. He has been married to his wonderful wife, Annette, since 1985 and has 3 grown children, 2 sons and a daughter. He also has one grand daughter, (Katie) and one Grandson (Jake). Robert is also a hobbyist beekeeper.

   I have been waiting to see what it would look like. After giving ideas over a year ago, I wondered what form it would take. This case looks great. I like the design and can't wait to get my hands on one.
