TalkHunting Opportunities
There are various opportunities available at the TalkHunting Magazine. If one of the positions below interests you, send an email to info@talkhunting.com and let us know what position you are interested in and why you think you would be a good fit for that position. All positions at TalkHunting are voluntary and non-paying.
Member Submitted Writer
We allow all TalkHunting members the opportunity to submit articles to be published in our magazine. While we cannot guarantee that all articles submitted will be published, if it is well thought out and well written, it will have a good chance. There is no need to apply for this position. Just register to become a user of this magazine and you will see “Submit an Article” in the right side menu.
Staff Writer
A Staff Writer position is one in which an individual writes outdoor articles for the TalkHunting magazine on a regular basis. While we do not pay for articles nor is this a paying position, it is a good way to get your name out there in the outdoor world. Staff writers are required to furnish 4 articles per year to keep their Staff Writer status. These articles need to be well thought out and well written.
Blogger
While we primarily reserve blogs for our Pro Staff and other magazine staff, we do make exceptions. If you feel that you could contribute a good blog (minimum of one per month) then we may make that exception for you.
Pro Staff
TalkHunting Pro Staff carry a lot of weight here but also have a lot of responsibilities. The Pro Staff are our representatives to the outside world. They are required to write a minimum of 6 articles per year, blog a minimum of one time per month and visit a minimum of 2 outdoors shows to work them for TalkHunting. This is a position that requires a lot of time and work but the rewards are worth it.
